7. We just found heaven on earth
Dive into the Gran Cenote One of the advantages of being in the Yucatan Peninsula is that you’re surrounded by natural sinkholes, or cenotes. In Tulum, you’ll be within a stone’s throw of the area’s most magnificent examples - Gran Cenote, Calavera and Carwash are some of the best known, but with a little searching you’ll find some practically deserted ones to explore, too

21. The magical Petra by Night
Is it worth it? Yes, we absolutely think it’s worth it if your already visiting Petra why not experience this opportunity! As you never know if you will enjoy it until you experience it. It’s defiantly a tourist event, however personally for us the magic seeing The Treasury under a full moon is an unforgettable moment.
Travel Tip:
✨Petra by night only operates on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday nights each week.
✨ Starting time is 8:30pm make sure to line up at the gate at 8pm if you want to try be some of the first people to arrive at the treasury for photos before it starts filling up with people.
✨ Tickets are purchased separately from the Jordan Pass at the Petra tourist centre. Make sure to buy these during the day.
✨ Bring a form of torch as it’s a very dark walk.
✨ Expect to run if you want your video moment without anyone in it.
✨ It’s very dark so most cameras and phones will struggle to capture perfectly unless you have the right equipment.
✨ Petra by night can only be walked no animals are present.
✨ The only access is the Treasury you can not walk around the whole of Petra. You wouldn’t see anything anyways it’s very dark.
Is Petra by night on your bucketlist?
