16. “It’s the most wonderful time… of the year!” 🎄🎁🎅🏼

And what better country to spend Christmas time if not Germany, filled with its beautiful Christmas markets?

As I’m now in Berlin I explored the best Weihnachtsmärkte, here are my favourite ones with some info and tips for you!👇🏼

📍RAW GELÄNDE: a very nice market with a more “historical” setup and a lot of activities and games for children. A small entrance fee of 3€ has to be paid, but I think it’s worth it. 🎅🏼
(20min from BER central station by S3/S5/S7/S9)

📍SCHLOSS CHARLOTTENBURG: to be honest I found this marker very commercial and pretty expensive, but the location was really amazing. The palace is really beautiful 🤩
(25min from BER central station by S3/S5/S7/S9 or by train)

📍HOLZMARKT 25: here you can find plenty of food trucks, a carousel and other entertainment for children. The location is the special feature of this market: here you can find the closest accessible spot to the river Sprea ⭐️ (20min from BER central station by S3/S5/S7/S9)

📍POTSDAM (Brandenburger Straße): I think this is possibly the nicest market so far as it’s pretty big, great location and affordable prices 🎁
(50min from BER central station by S7 + tram 91/92/94/96)

📍 BABELSBERG WEBERPLATZ: a very cute, small and still “ancient looking” Christmas market 🎄
(40min from BER central station by S7)
