Easiest way is by ferry. They go regularly from town to town. You can also rent a car, but finding parking can be tricky.

👉🏻 How to get there?
If you’re coming from outside of Italy, take a flight or train to Milan. From there, take a train to Como (the town) or Lecco. It takes about one hour.

👉🏻 How long to stay?
Each of the little towns can be visited in half a day. Feel free to add more time if you like, you certainly won’t get bored.

👉🏻 Where to stay?
Either in Milan if you want to do day trip(s) to the lake or in a less touristic town on the lake, such as Lecco.
