18. ✨ Second Wave VS The Wave ✨

As I meander through the vibrant landscapes of Arizona/Utah, I find myself at the foot of the Second Wave. Unlike its more renowned sibling, the Second Wave is a hidden gem that whispers tales of the earth’s ancient past. Here, the sandstone curves dance with the setting sun, casting a warm glow over the delicate striations that tell a story millions of years in the making.

The Second Wave may not have the fame of the iconic Wave, but it stands proud in its own right. As the late afternoon light caresses its form, the colors come alive, painting a masterpiece that rivals any artist’s palette. It’s a place where silence speaks volumes, and every grain of sand seems to hold a secret.

While the famous Wave draws crowds with its dramatic, sweeping troughs, the Second Wave offers a more intimate encounter. It’s like stumbling upon an undiscovered world, where each step reveals a new wonder. The Second Wave’s beauty lies in its subtlety, its quiet majesty, and the way it complements the landscape without overpowering it.

So here’s to the paths less traveled and the beauty that awaits there. May we all find our Second Wave, a place of peace, reflection, and unparalleled beauty.

23. Happy Earth Day! 🌎 🌱

Happy Earth Day! 🌎 🌱 When I traveled around Ireland and Northern Ireland there were some places I found that were overlooked for the highlights you see on everyone’s Instagram like the Giant’s Causeway and Cliffs of Moher.
.
However there are so many beautiful places in the world if we look a little deeper instead of what is viral. I found cliff path off of the Causeway Coastal Route and found an absolute gem. Not only did I find other Irish people who hadn’t heard of this and told them how much I loved the experience. Here you can see many birds including puffins in season, marine life, and also enjoy a different perspective of the cliffs and even walk inside a sea cave.
.
Nature is one of the best attractions in my opinion when I travel and I am so glad the nature of the Emerald Isle is alive and well.
