12. Out of all the places in Croatia, the source of the Cetina River was my favourite

Having visited twice over two consecutive days, we lucked out on the latter and had the place entirely to ourselves. While the 5°C water originally put me off, Soph did manage to convince me to take a dip with her! It was truly freezing, but once you had your breath under control it was surprisingly therapeutic. Would you dare to swim here

13. Wake up in 5am for the cloud hunting, the best view ever that made my day, at Bali

As we set off for this location at around 5am, the conditions looked far from in our favour. Thick clouds loomed above, and the odd spot of rain on our ascent left us feeling all the more hopeless. We decided to send it regardless, and to our surprise we’re greeted with these ridiculous conditions just 10 minutes after arriving! Moral of the story - don’t turn around if you think the weather looks crap, especially in Bali
