La Digue has a different vibe to the other islands-it’s so laidback and hipster. Here’s a mini guide to help you plan a trip there!
Getting Here - you can get to La Digue by ferry from Mahe or Praslin.
Getting Around - La Digue is pretty much car free- everyone cycles here. There several bike hire places on the island and you can bike to any beach. There are also taxi buggies if you prefer taxis.
Where to Stay- La Passe is the main town in La Digue, I recommend staying here as it’s easy to walk to/from the ferry and also easy to get to restaurants.
Itinerary- I cycled to the beaches in the north, all the way to Anse Fourmis and back. On the way back, I stopped at one of the beach bars to enjoy the sunset.
