💡Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, located in Bristol, Maine, stands as a timeless symbol of both coastal beauty and maritime history. 💰There is a $3.00/person (12 and over) admission fee. Children 5-11: $1, Children 4 and under: Free. This fee grants access to various attractions, including the Fisherman’s Museum in the Keeper’s House, the Pemaquid Art Gallery, the Learning Center, picnic areas, and restrooms. The Light Tower, which is an active tower under the ownership of the US Coast Guard, can be entered at no extra cost as part of the admission!
You can find Pemaquid Point in Pemaquid Lighthouse Park which is located at the entrance to Muscongus Bay and Johns Bay, in the town of Bristol 📍3115 Bristol Road New Harbor, ME 04664

13. POV: You take a spring camper van road trip on the Wild Atlantic Way with your mom to Donegal from Dublin
My mom and I took a camper van VW California to be exact. This was the perfect size to navigate the windy and narrow roads all the way to the northern most point on mainland Ireland- Malin Head. So many people told me to visit Donegal. I didn’t know all of the amazing things it had in store for us. I could have spent my whole week in the camper van here alone because there are so many beautiful spots to explore in one of the wildest counties in Ireland.
My top 3 places you should visit in Donegal:
1. Malin Head - This place was amazing with thatched roof homes, amazing hospitality by the friendly locals, and the views. It is known to be the sunniest part of Ireland and the windiest!
2. Glenveagh National Park & Castle

My top tips for renting a camper van to explore the Wild Atlantic Way.

1. Book campsites in advance and always plan for your route to take longer. You will want to stop along the Wild Atlantic Way and unexpected road work May lengthen the drive.
2. Try going off season and on the shoulder season so you have less traffic, more parking spots at popular sights, and in general life will be easier and campgrounds will be cheaper. Imagine viewpoints and beaches to yourself!
3. Plan your Wild Atlantic Way Route in advance. My tip is break it up on two separate trips. Last time I did the southern portion of the Wild Atlantic Way, this time we started from the North to South. We went from Dublin, to Donegal south ending at the Cliffs of Moher, before heading back to Dublin. The Wild Atlantic Way (WAW) is a 2,500km (1,554mile) route, along the stunning rugged. It is hard to do everything in one go so enjoy what is right in front of you!
4. Need to do the laundry? Check out Revolution. They have outdoor laundry stations at service stations.
